Inter House Sports Meet 2011

The Inter-House Sports Meet was conducted on the 24th April 2011 at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

Mr. P.B.G. Somaratne, The Commissioner of the Probation and Child Care Department graced the occassion as the Chief Guest.

10th Anniversary Celebration & Prize Giving

The 10th opening anniversary of Gokulam was celebrated grandly on the 4th July 2009. The Chief Guests of the Event were Mrs. Santhy Navakarasan, the Director of Hindu Religious department, and Ms. Jagarajasingam, Secretary of the Social Development Ministry.

The prize giving for the children was also conducted on this day.

There was also an Art Exhibition alongside where the artwork of the children were on display for the visitors.

The children performed many dances, acted in dramas and sang songs.

Interhouse Sportsmeet

Sports Meet 2009

The Interhouse Sportsmeet was conducted at the Gokulam Children's Home for the first time from the 23rd - 25th May 2009. The children participated in events such as March Past, Relays, Running races, Long jump, high jump, drill etc.
